Group Classes

Alpha group classes are set in casual settings where you will be free to ask questions, get one-on-one time with instructors and practice all the techniques that are taught. We will watch videos, share stories, and discuss your plans and options. Alpha instructors care for you, and will strive to empower you with your faith and facts so that you have the best birth experience for you!

Home Study Option

We are happy to offer Alpha as a home study option. If you are unable to attend a group class or there is not one yet offered in your area, this option may be for you. You will have the flexibility to work through the Alpha materials on your own time, alongside your birth partner.

If you decide to purchase the home study course, you will receive the same Alpha materials that a student in a class setting would receive: Alpha workbook and Alpha birthing room and bassinet signs. You will also have access to an Alpha instructor to follow up with any questions that arise during your home study time.

The cost for home study is $125, and is available in our shop.

Do you offer these classes via webcam. I live in NYC and there a little to zero Christian birth classes in my area.

    Please let me know.

    Thank you

Hi Cristina! Thanks for your question. We hope that changes very soon for NYC! We do have instructors who offer private studies over webcam. For a list of instructors who are currently offering private class over webcam, please email us through the contact form! Peace, Alpha

hi there your new doula training sondus awesome. I trained with Deborah Pascal-Bonaro long ago for both birth and postpartum. My life took a different path, and am now licensed professional counselor specializing in the emotions of pregnancy and birth, such as anxiety and depression during pregnancy due to sexual abuse, and caring for postpartum mood disorders such as depression and OCD. I am also the developer of the BirthTouch training for birth professionals. I’ve been thinking about taking another training and I’ll look around your site. Congratulations and good luck to you! Namaste, Kathy

Hi, I am a trained doula and was interested the Alpha classes to sit in on, if possible. I am really interested in the Christian perspective. I will be leaving for Kunming, China in Sept to work at a local pregnancy center. Please tell me how I can take the class. Thank you. My friend Cecily P. took your class and highly recommended it.
